Open Call

field: is dedicated to the creative and critical understanding of architecture in relation to different disciplines, timeframes, cultures, topographies and territories. It addresses a range of topics with a range of approaches.

We invite contributions from individuals or groups. We are interested in submissions from architecture and anthropology, archaeology, art, art history, design practice, design history, film studies, geography, history, literary studies, politics, psychology, science, sociology, sport, visual culture and many other fields.

field: will consider proposals for special issues on specific themes.

We would encourage contributions in a variety of formats including academic articles, book, exhibition and film reviews, diaries and interviews, photo essays and any other experimental modes of communication and representation.

field: publishes peer-reviewed academic articles which should not be longer than 5000 words. For full submission guidelines go to the
